Much as I hate to admit it, much of who I am is defined by the fact that I’m an intern and what that means is that I get up super early to work in the hospital (but not so early that I can’t call myself a night person!)  Sometimes I wish I could go back to my carefree college drinking/ 8 to 5 job with disposable income days but to be honest, I really love that I’m working towards a career in the Navy and hopefully end up working with the underserved Hispanic population.  Outside of that, I love to run, ski, canoe, kayak, swim, hike, etc.  It’s been hard to keep that up with my job, but as I just moved to the coast I’m making time for getting out to the beach!  With friends the best thing is to be chilling on some outdoor patio, drinking wine, beer, coffee, and just catching up!  Or cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes Traveling with is also something I love, whether it’s a road trip, visiting friends out of state, seeing family in Chile, or Ryan air-hopping around europe.
